후진타오에 관한 유머

미리 설명드릴 것은 중국국가주석인 Hu Jintao의 Hu는 영어의 Who(누구)와 같은 발음이고, Yes, Sir(그렇습니다. 각하)는 Yassir (야세르)와 같은 발음 coffee 는 UN사무총장 kofi와 같은 발음이고 콘돌리사 라이스는 쌀이라는 뜻의 Rice와 같습니다..

George: Condi! Nice to see you. What's happening? 

라이스. 만나서 반갑군. 무슨 일이지?

Condi: Sir, I have the report about the new leader of China. 

각하 중국의 새 지도자에 관한 걸 보고하러 왔습니다.

George: Great. Let's hear it. 

좋아.  말해보지

Condi: Hu is the new leader of China. 

후(누)가 중국의 새 지도자입니다.

 

George: That's what I want to know. 

그걸 말해달라고

Condi: That's what I'm telling you. 

금방 말씀드렸는데요.

George: That's what I'm asking you. Who is the new leader of 
China? 

내가 금방 그걸 물어봤잖아. 누(후)가 중국의 새 지도자인지?

Condi: Yes. 

그렇습니다.

 

George: I mean the fellow's name. 

그 사람 이름을 말해달라고

Condi: Hu. 

후(누구?)

George: The guy in China. 

중국에 있는 그 사람.

Condi: Hu.  
후(누구?)

George: The new leader of China. 

중국의 새 지도자

Condi: Hu. 

후(누구?)

George: The Chinese! 

그 중국사람!

Condi: Hu is leading China. 

후(누)가 중국의 지도자입니다.

 

George: Now whaddya asking me for? 

아, 당신이 나한테 묻는 거야?

Condi: I'm telling you Hu is leading China. 

저는 후(누)가 중국의 지도자라고 말하는 겁니다.

 

George: Well, I'm asking you. Who is leading China? 

다시 묻겠는데 누(후)가 중국의 지도자야?

Condi: That's the man's name. 

바로 그 사람입니다.

George: That's whose name? 

그게 누구(후)의 이름이냐고?

Condi: Yes. 

그렇습니다.

George: Will you or will you not tell me the name of the new leader of 
China? 

당신은 도대체 누(후)가 중국의 지도자인지 말해주려는 거야 뭐야

Condi: Yes sir. 

예 그렇습니다(야세르)

George: Yassir? You mean Arafat is in China? I thought he was in the 
Middle East. 

야세르. 아파파트가 중국에 갔다고? 그는 중동에 있잖아.

Condi: That'ss correct. 
맞습니다.

George: Then who is in China? 

그럼 누(후)가 중국에 있고?

Condi: Yes, sir.  
그렇습니다. 각하(야세르)

George: Yassir is in China? 

야세르가 중국에 있어?

Condi: No, sir. 
아닙니다. 각하

George: Then who is? 

그럼 누(후)가?

 

Condi: Yes, sir. 
그렇습니다. 각하(야세르)

George: Yassir? 
야세르?

Condi: No, sir 
아닙니다. 각하

 

George: Look, Condi. I need to know the name of the new leader of China. Get me the Secretary General of the U.N. on the phone. I bet  he knows. 

 

이봐. 라이스. 나는 중국의 새 지도자의 이름이 알고싶어. 유엔사무총장을 전화로 연결해봐. 그는 알 거야

Condi: Kofi? 

코피(커피)?

George: No, thanks. 

아니. 됐어.

Condi: You want Kofi? 

코피에게 연결할까요(커피마실래요?)

George: No. 
아냐!

Condi: You don't want Kofi. 

코피에게 연결하지 않아도 되겠군요(커피 필요없다구요)

George: No. But now that you mention it, I could use a 
glass of milk. And then get me the U.N. 

아니. 그렇지만 얘기하니까, 우유 한잔이면 되겠어. 그리고 유엔에 연결해줘

Condi: Yes, sir. 
알겠습니다 각하(야세르)

 

George: Not Yassir! The guy at the U.N. 

야세르 말고. 유엔에 있는 친구

 

Condi: Kofi? 
코피(커피)?

George: No, milk! Will you please make the call? 

아니 우유! 전화연결시켜주겠어?

Condi: Call who? 

누구(후)에게 걸려구요?

George: Who is the guy at the U.N? 

연합국에 있는 누구(후)

Condi: Hu is the guy in China. 

후(누구)는 중국에 있는데요.

George: Will you stay out of China?! 

중국얘기는 좀 그만하지.

Condi: Yes, sir.  
예. 각하(야세르)

George: And stay out of the Middle East! Just get me the 
guy at the U.N!  
중동 얘기도 그만하고. 그냥 유엔이나 연결시켜줘

 

Condi: Kofi? 

코피(커피?)

George: All right! Light with sugar. Now get on the phone. 

좋아. 설탕 약간 넣고. 전화나 줘.

(라이스가 전화기를 집어들었다)
Condi: Rice here 
라이스입니다. (쌀입니다)

 

George: Rice? Good idea. And a couple of egg rolls, too. 
쌀? 좋은 생각이군. 에그롤도 같이...
